While today is recognized in the United States as a day of celebrating freedom, much of the guaranteed freedoms of citizens all over the globe are being denied by world governments, as we are restricted from our birthright of sovereignty and peace. We begin a new 13-day period of EVOLVING energy today, and it is time that we move beyond what we have believed freedom to be and embrace a broader perspective of what it means to be free by standing up and demanding that our rights be restored to us.
A period of EVOLVING energy is a period of LARGE changes. Boundaries shift, political conditions destabilize, and new and alternative opportunities arise….if we are paying attention and doing our part. By keeping our awareness limited to the current governmental enforced rules, we will continue to experience a reality of oppression. We can also experience disappointment after disappointment if we cling to what we want and refuse to embrace what is becoming a path that is necessary for us to walk together.
The Maya called this period Caban, or Earthquake, because of the potentials available for earthshaking changes. But the movement that occurs now needs to start at the level of our awareness. We should not be looking for physical changes outside of ourselves but changing on the inside. By clinging to outdated and selfish ideals that we believe keep us safe, we will not embrace the path of our intended evolutionary journey. We simply must walk away from the ILLUSION, and this 13-day period of EVOLVING energy supports that. Until our attitudes, awareness, and consciousness have made tremendous changes, we will not manifest the alternative reality we are here to create.
This period offers an opening of wisdom and new ideas. It calls us to listen to our hearts, where true wisdom is always available, and connect our thoughts with what our hearts know is true. The mind can play tricks on us, and for our minds to function properly, it is essential that we connect our thoughts with our hearts so that every choice we make benefits the highest good of all.
It is in moving radically away from selfishness and separation and into the spirit of In Lak’ech (I am another yourself) that we can make the largest evolutionary leap and actually accomplish the Evolution that we have been striving towards. This new wisdom can open the doors for us to experience what true freedom really is.
