ONENESS
Oneness,
dressed up as another,

came knocking at my door.

I invited her in for tea.

Together we sat in silence,
sipping possibilities,
watching the steam dance from our cups,
getting to know each other in
dimensions once unknown,
revealing all the other times our paths had crossed,

smiling at the many costumes we had worn,
finally with empty cups,
in a ripened stillness,
we both let out a cosmic giggle
and went our separate ways,
knowing we really had gone nowhere.
