There is no doubt that almost all of us have been feeling the challenges and the tensions of unexpected misunderstandings, miscommunications, and stresses in the past 13-days, as we have been working so diligently to plant seeds for a new future under Planting Earth Energy. Old patterns we thought we had dealt with have probably still been coming to the surface during Planting energy, and those patterns will continue to surface as we step into 13 days of EVOLVING Energy today, providing extended opportunities to do things differently, without reactivity. We will still experience triggers that provide chances to respond rather than react as miscommunications continue for a few more days as part of the evolutionary process. Roy Gillett wrote in the UK Astrological Journal (“Working With the Planets, Nov/Dec Issue) that between December 1 and December 8, “It will be difficult to avoid breakdowns in relationships due to misunderstood communication leading to negative opinions.” I quite agree that communication has been very challenging lately! Even simple, direct conversations have been extremely difficult.
We are all more than ready to move forward. Beginning today the 13-day period of EVOLVING Earth Energy continues to push us towards our own and collective evolution; through using our conscious intentions, we can continue to join the evolutionary process. Part of our evolutionary process is to learn to get along with those who are very different from us, as the photo above demonstrates so well! With every choice we make, we can move away from feeling “stuck” and into participating with the arriving opportunities for change. And EVOLVING energy is all about changes– BIG ones! Boundaries shift as new and better opportunities arise. This 13-day period offers an opening for wisdom and new ideas. We have the choice to stay stuck in emotional reactivity when things we don’t like or want come up or when we are frustrated by yet another miscommunication, OR we can remain neutral, detached, and positive in our thoughts, actions, and responses to others and to life.
Towards the end of this 13-day period (on Moving Energy day), Venus moves into the Phase of Rebirth. The combination of EVOLVING as an over-lighting guiding energy, Moving as the energy of the day, and the Venus Phase of Rebirth (Gregorian day December 14) gives us a chance to move more fully into who we are as the Universe supports us to remember our true nature. Stay present and open to whatever changes come, trusting that they are leading to a higher version of the reality that we are helping to co-create through our own thoughts, feelings, and actions. Remember that practicing AHIMSA (“Do No Harm”) will always help in this process.
